About Me: I received my B.S. in Physics from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2008 and my Ph.D. in Physics from Wake Forest University in 2015 where I studied single fiber nanomechanical properties using atomic force microscopy. After completing my Ph.D., I accepted a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Leeds in Leeds, England, where I focused on better understanding the structural and mechanical properties of blood clots and how they relate to disease. I returned to Wake Forest University in January of 2020 where I joined the faculty as a Teacher-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellow. Starting in July of 2022 I am now a visiting assistant professor.
